sport">UTRECHT – Until Wednesday evening there was nothing to indicate that John van den Brom (54) would not sit on the FC Utrecht bench during the match with Ajax on Sunday. After his lightning transfer to KRC Genk, however, he did not report to the Galgenwaard stadium, but about 185 kilometers away at his Belgian new employer, where he led the first training. “I think this was the best solution for FC Utrecht and me in the end,” said the coach.
