A New Head on Apple’s Leadership Page

In January, Apple announced that former vice president of hardware engineering Dan Riccio was moving to a new role to focus on an unspecified project, and that Ternus would take over. John Ternus now appears alongside other Apple Senior Vice Presidents, such as Jeff Williams, Johny Srouji, and Craig Federighi.

Riccio was taken off the page, and while Apple hasn’t said what he’s working on, Bloomberg recently said he’s focusing on Apple’s AR / VR headsets.

John Ternus originally joined Apple as a member of the product design team in 2001 and has been vice president of hardware engineering since 2013.
