Mr. O’grady, a resident of Pinehurst, Clongour, leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication to his family and community. He is predeceased by his brothers,Jim and Paddy.

Mr. O’grady is survived by his devoted wife, Ann (née Treacy), his sons Martin, Sean, and Brian, and daughters-in-law Tara, gina, and Maria. He was a cherished grandfather to Juanita, Katie, Calum, Rory, billy, and Max, and great-grandfather to Ellen-Rose. He is also remembered by his nephews, nieces, brother-in-law denis, sister-in-law Mary, cousins, extended relatives, former colleagues and pupils of Thurles CBS, neighbors, and a wide circle of friends.

Mr. O’grady will repose at hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home on Slievenamon Road in Thurles on Sunday, December 8th, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. His remains will be received into the Cathedral of the Assumption on Cathedral Street, Thurles, on Monday, December 9th, at 10:30 am, followed by Requiem mass at 11:00 am. Interment will take place immediately afterward at killinan Cemetery.
