On Wednesday night, Fluminense brought great news to its fans. Rio’s Tricolor officially announced the contract renewal of striker John Kennedy. At CT Carlos Castilho, the player signed a new contract with the club until December 2026.
“I’m very happy for the work being recognized. Together for another good time with Fluzão. I’m very happy and would like to thank Paulo Angioni, the president, the Tricolor staff and the fans for their trust and love as always”, declared the athlete in an interview with the team’s official website.
Kennedy’s initial contract with Fluminense would run until the end of 2025. The striker, who scored one of the goals in Rio’s Tricolor over Internacional in the second leg to put his team in the Libertadores grand final, agreed to a contract extension for another year.
