John Kennedy predicts Kristoffer Ajer will soon have offers to leave Celtic – EzAnime.net

Celtic interim boss John Kennedy told The Scottish Sun that he has “no doubt” that Kristoffer Ajer will receive interest this summer.

The Bhoys started the post-Neil Lennon era with a 1-0 win over Aberdeen on Saturday afternoon, with Odsonne Edouard winning.

There’s not much for Celtic fans to yell at right now, but defender Ajer has received high praise.

The giant defender was hailed by the interim Kennedy for his performance, before the Scotsman offered a realistic vision of his future.

Kennedy suggested there is “no question” that Ajer will soon have offers to leave Celtic, believing interest is just around the corner.

Kennedy praised Ajer’s abilities thanks to his size, speed and technical ability, but added that the Norwegian is not thinking about his future at the moment.

The 22-year-old, who was Ronny Deila’s last Celtic signing in 2016, has been linked to massive clubs in the past, and Kennedy acknowledges that it may soon make sense for Celtic to sell from a business perspective.

“Kris isn’t thinking too much about her future,” Kenndy said. “For him, it’s about doing his best wherever he is. I have no doubt that there will be interest in it. He is still very young and is an international player. With his profile of speed, size, technique and skill, there will be interest in him.

“When that happens, it will be the club and Kris himself who make that decision. But it is important for the club in the future to keep players like him. But other players, as we have seen in the past, come in, they do well for the club, but if it makes sense for the club from a commercial perspective and the player sees his future elsewhere, naturally things change, ”he added.

Losing Ajer would be a huge blow, but it could really turn into a Premier League success if an offer were made to him, and with Celtic potentially rebuilding, you might be in the mood for a chance elsewhere.
