John Cena and his girlfriend Shay Shariatzadeh were married on Monday in the American city of Tampa (Florida), according to various media. The couple did not announce their marriage, but several showbiz sites managed to get their hands on the marriage certificate.
The actor and former show wrestler and Canadian product manager at a tech company were first seen together in March of 2019, a few months after Cenas split from Nikki Bella.
Later in the year, the two appeared together on the red carpet of Cenas film Playing with Fire. There, the actor revealed that he met Shariatzadeh when he spent some time in her hometown of Vancouver for filming.
It is the second marriage for 43-year-old Cena. The actor was married to his high school sweetheart Elizabeth Huberdeau from 2009 to 2012.
