John Carew breaks with ComeOn

HE EARNED MILLIONS: John Carew earned NOK 8.2 million promoting a game company over a six-year period. This was proved by the indictment against the Norwegian earlier this year.

John Carew (43) is stepping down as ComeOn ambassador.

John Carew he ended up as an ambassador for ComeOn, VG confirmed this from the company.

– Everything has an end, after almost a full decade in ComeOn, it was time to go our separate ways. We had so much fun together and created a lot of laughter and joy. There is no drama in this, we continue to be friends and wish each other well, Carew wrote in a statement.

The former footballer had his first assignment with the betting company in 2013. The contract expires on 1 January 2023.

The new gambling law has led to Betting violation in Kjendis-Norway.

The new law takes effect on January 1. Gives the Norwegian Lottery Authority the authority to impose fines individuals which advertises gaming companies.

– I think it’s sad. I think we are very much governed by the Norwegian authorities and we should have a greater degree of freedom. It is special that I, who have an agreement with a company in Malta, cannot get the word ‘NordicBet’ into my mouth, said Jahn Ivar Jakobsen, better known as Mini.

For several years, Mini held a side job as an ambassador for the Betsson-owned NordicBet.
