John Batiste and Silk Sonic triumph at the Grammy ceremony; Ritmanis also receives the award

Pop sensation Olivia Rodrigo received three awards, including the Young Artist of the Year.

The rock band “Foo Fighters”, which almost lost their drummer Taylor Hawkins, received three awards this year, also for the best rock album.

The Grammy Awards ceremony featured a video address by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky calling for support for Ukraine in the war with Russia.

Best Country Music Album: Chris Steiplton, Starting Over.

Conductor Eimija Andersone, producers Eimija Andersone, Mark Matsons and Lolita Ritmanis, who is also the author of some of the compositions’ music, received the award in the category “Best Collection of Classical Music” for the album “Women Warriors – The Voices of Change”.
