John Ambrose Fleming and the Invention of Practical Electrical Devices

In 1901, Fleming conducted a very large experiment for radio signal research which he was doing with his colleague, Gugielmo Marconi. When the experiment was carried out, Fleming was in charge of maintaining the transmitter, which was in Cornwall, England. Meanwhile, Marconi made his receiver in St. Johns, Newfoundland.
