The couple’s twin boys were born last Thursday. Now the new parents have reached home with their children.
Glassar tells Iltalehti about his fresh mood in a voice message. He says that the main feeling is enthusiasm. He is a little surprised, because he often hears the words “tired and happy”. He has slept a couple of hours a night, but feels energetic.
– This is really nice, everything related to this. Emotional, touching and wonderful, all the superlatives that come to mind, Glassar describes.
He describes that he is definitely living the peak of his life.
– The last days and also the last months, he adds.
Glassar describes that the father’s role has felt natural and really meaningful. He repeats that he is excited.

“It’s hard to understand what’s going on”
Glassar says that the couple had really good childbirth training. When he was involved in the birth, he positioned himself so that we go step by step.
– After all, it was a wild experience and maybe in some way shaking. Also a really touching, wonderful and beautiful experience.
Glassar describes that when the babies then arrived in the world, it was difficult to understand what was happening. Everything materialized in that moment.
– It’s hard to describe in words, yes, he reflects.
Glassar and Puhakka call the babies by affectionate names for now.
He admits that congratulations have been pouring in.
– It’s been really nice.
Glassar also marvels at how much parenting brings people together. Even on the street, people have come to congratulate, wonder and talk about their own children. Glassar finds it delightful how people’s eyes light up when they talk about their own children, and he states that his own do too now.
– My happiness is in the hills, he sums up.
The new father shared a video of the family’s homecoming on his Instagram.
– The babies finally got home and so did we. I’m so happy. Thank you Naistenklinika staff! Glassar writes happily.

The new mother also shared her experiences
Puhakka also shared the homecoming video on his social media. In addition, he says in his Instagram story that he has mixed feelings about moving home.
– My God, how tense I was all the way home from the women’s clinic. It felt so absurd, wonderful, but at the same time scary. This is where real life begins, Puhakka writes.
Two days ago, the couple shared touching pictures from the maternity ward. In the publication, they announced the birth of twins.
