The owner of the LCR Honda Satellite team, Lucio Cecchinello claims that it was Johann Zarco who first made contact with them, exploring the possibility of their collaboration for the upcoming 2024 MotoGP season.
Silverstone, runganSport — racer from France, Johann Zarco his contract with Ducati will expire at the end of the 2023 season.

But the team owner Lucio Cecchinello revealed that it was Zarco’s party who approached LCR.

We were approached by various agents, including Zarco’s agent.” say Cecchinello on the sidelines of the British MotoGP, citing the official website MotoGP.com.
“We were a bit surprised, because Zarco has a very competitive bike at the moment.
He will also offer us the possibility to work together on a multi-year project and that is an option on the table.” said the Italian man told the French media, Canal+.
