A new series of First Dates is coming, in which well-known Dutch people also join in the hope of finding the love of their lives. Johan Vlemminx is one of the celebrities who has a date with an unknown single.
But did the evening in the restaurant also end in a love affair with a special lady? “I’m not allowed to say that yet”, says Johan in the Omroep Brabant radio program Afslag Zuid.

“I’m not at all into dating or internet dating. But I was asked to participate. The biggest question for me was: which lid fits on this weird jar. Because I’m a bit strange”, Vlemmix shows a lot of self-knowledge. .

Shared hobby
In the autumn special that will be broadcast on November 15, Johan Vlemmix and José from Limburg appear to share a hobby: he collects dolls and she paints them.

“I’m still dazed by the date. Then you sit there waiting and watching. Who would they have chosen? And then a door like that opens and you see her.”

Bad jokes
However, Vlemmix turned out not to be a real gentleman. “I also misbehaved a bit. Sometimes I like the jokes and not all jokes went well. Well, actually all jokes went wrong,” says the TV personality. “But it was fantastic. Very special and it is definitely worth watching.”
