Johan Petit is now 24 years old and it has been five years since he created his own company, called L’Art Rénovation. In April 2016, at just 19 years old, his professional baccalaureate in building technician, study, construction economics in hand, he did not want to continue on a BTS. He enrolled in CAP metalwork, alternating for a year in a company.

Originally from Mende, and his parents having recently moved to La Grande-Motte, Johan seized the opportunity and decided to settle in the city of the Pyramids. A city where, it seemed to him, there were good opportunities: a lot of apartments in second or annual residence, villas… So projects are the key for the young entrepreneur.
From floor to ceiling, Johan is completely renovating, with a new challenge for 2021: the making of outdoor terraces in marble resin, a new concept that appeals to its customers. As Alain Bashung sang so well, Johan’s small business does not know the crisis. Even if during the first containment, it was a little more difficult because of the goods not available and not delivered, the young entrepreneur has six months in advance for the sites to come.
Working exclusively on La Grande-Motte, Johan says he is confident in the future even if he adds that unfortunately some of his colleagues have lost a lot.
At only 24 years old, it is a beautiful journey of young enterprising which warms hearts in these difficult times.
