Wilfred Genee explains in the online section In de Wandelgangs why Johan Derksen was missing from the broadcast of Today Inside on Thursday evening. The 75-year-old journalist was replaced in the talk show by Rutger Castricum, who explains how difficult it is to sit in the chair of the sick Derksen.
Studio guest Raymond Mens asks Genee whether there is already an ‘update’ available about Derksen’s health: “Is he at home or has he gone to the hospital?”, Mens wants to know. Updated 10:57 am: Today Today Inside on your own website announced that Derksen will return on Friday evening. Hélène Hendriks, her new program for the first time this coming Sunday The Orange Summer will present, will take place as table guest between Derksen, Genee and René van der Gijp.
