Joey Jordison of Slipknot is dead. He suffered from a rare disease
The legendary band Metallica paid tribute to Jordison on their official Facebook page, with a picture of him on stage and the caption “Brother, RIP”.
Jordison was one of the founders of the Slipknot group, which was established in 1995 in the American town of Des Moines, Iowa. The band released their first album in 1999. A characteristic feature of the musicians are performances with masks on their faces. Jordison chose a kabuki mask derived from a traditional Japanese theater form. The musician was the author of the Slipknot logo and horror punk rock band Murderdolls, his other band.
