The couples from ‘Married at First Sight’ are growing closer, but not all of them are. The click between Maurice and Arjan is missing. It’s slowly coming to Joep and Caroline, but Joep still has something to confess to his brand new bride…

The experts have predicted that future life partners Sonny and Dylan will be instantly attracted to each other. But is that true? They certainly don’t have nerves, at least; Sonny is not stressed. Above all, he is very much looking forward to meeting his soon-to-be. “All my friends and family are really nervous, but we’re just going to do it!” he says enthusiastically for the camera.
But once on the way to the altar it starts to itch. “Behind this door is just the rest of my life – if it turns out to be a success, but we’re going to assume that and we’re both going to work hard at it. It’s crazy, all your friends and family are ready, just us .”

Joep and Caroline have already said yes, but many guests notice that they are not very ‘cuddly’ yet. For example, Joep gave his bride a kiss on the cheek, while according to presenter Carlo Boszhard there are also candidates who immediately kiss full on the mouth. “I really liked that he thought: I’m going to kiss the cheek,” Caroline explains for the camera. “That is also just safe and also feels that he gives space.”
The fact that Joep has participated in a television program before does not matter much to Caroline. She has the season of De Bachelorette seen, but does not recognize him. “No, that really doesn’t stop me at such faces, sorry”, she admits after Joep tells her the ‘news’. The groom-to-be would like to emphasize that, although he does not regret his participation, De Bachelorette didn’t really suit him. “I also noticed that such a program is not the program I belong to,” he explains. “That feels very different from this. This is sincere, I mean that too. I feel that way too. It was a nice adventure and I had a good time, but it is closed and through.”

For Arjan and Maurice it is all still a bit uncomfortable the day after the wedding. Although most couples then float on a pink cloud, it is different for the two. “I really had a panic yesterday… I don’t know if it was really a panic attack, but just everything together”, Arjan, who previously expressed his doubts, tells his story on screen. “We talked well, he’s a very sweet man. But I say: I just don’t feel any physical attraction. Zero, really zero.”
However, Maurice hasn’t given up hope yet, and the couple have decided together to start as friends first and slowly start looking for that physical click. “I have good hopes for the coming days”, Maurice remains positive. But before the couple has checked out of the hotel, Arjan has another panic attack. “I don’t know how to proceed, I would have loved to see it differently,” he confesses to his brand new husband. “I give it to you, I give it to me, but it just went completely wrong. I’m really panicking… because I want to feel or find something I don’t find (…) I just don’t see us together.”
Viewers appear to have little sympathy for Arjan’s feelings. They think that Maurice can get better.

Sander and Astrid are still in Mallorca and are having a great time. “I can’t say many things that I don’t like about him,” said Astrid. They even have so much fun together that Sander has no eye for the road at all and hits the car behind them twice while driving away. He takes love makes blind very seriously…
Astleigh and Rowan are also on honeymoon in Sardinia. “It’s really going smoother than expected, and I’m happy with that,” said Astleigh – who doesn’t feel butterflies, but caterpillars in his stomach. “It’s very bizarre that after a few days you can already have such a click with someone”, Rowan agrees with him. “The experts saw that well in advance.”
