Joëlle also says in the message that she is extremely grateful for the little miracle in her belly and therefore calls for ‘extra love’ to be sent to all women who are trying to conceive. “I hope your miracles are around the corner!”

Joëlle and her husband Dave Bulthuis welcomed their first child in June 2019. Earlier that year, the family left for South Korea, because Dave plays football for Ulsan Hyundai FC. It is also a small miracle that the model has become pregnant again. After a preliminary stage of cervical cancer and disorders of her ovary, Joëlle only had a 1 percent chance of a natural pregnancy.
