The third division team Zug 94 II contested the promotion round to the 2nd division last summer. The start of the new season did not go as planned. Coach Egidio Verta’s team is in 5th place in the table with 15 points after 9 rounds. Joel Lopes Gil, the team’s right wing, explains: “Due to injuries, we have been missing several experienced key players for a long time. The resulting gaps were compensated for with A-Juniors and foreign arrivals. Understandably, it takes some time for the automation to take effect.”
