Joe Exotic, known from the Netflix series Tiger King, has recently written a letter to the American President Donald Trump in which he asks the Republican to pardon him. Several American media are reporting this. Joseph Maldonado-Passage, real name Joe Exotic, is serving a 21-year prison sentence for animal cruelty and planning murder.
“Many people stuck their necks out for you in 2021 and have been living in hell ever since,” Exotic wrote in his letter. “Everyone hopes that you will keep the promises you made during your campaign, including pardoning everyone, as soon as possible in January 2025. ” Exotic says he “fought to hold on” to the hope that Trump would win the election.
Exotic also asks Trump if he could participate in his administration. He would like to become the director of the United States Fish and Wildlife Service, a federal government agency within the US Department of the Interior. “It is time to bring some honesty to this department, because the former director was only looking out for himself. He used his position to push me out of the market and put me in jail,” Exotic argues.
At the end of October, Exotic announced that he had found love in prison where he was serving his sentence. The 61-year-old reality star is engaged to another partner Jorge Marquez, who is 33 years old and from Mexico.
