The well-known animal keeper from the Netflix hit “Tiger King”, Joe Exotic, has had his sentence reduced from 22 years to 21 years in prison.

Exotic, or Joseph Maldonado-Passage as he is actually called, received his new prison sentence on Friday.
The animal keeper had asked for a milder punishment so that he could begin pending cancer treatment.

The pet sitter’s lawyer claims that Exotic was not serious when he asked for this.
He is also convicted of killing five tigers, selling tiger cubs and falsifying the wildlife register.
Baskin also participated in the case processing and has according to AP said that she was afraid Exotic could threaten her.
