US President Joe Biden said in an interview with CNN that Ukraine not yet ready for NATO membership.

“I don’t think there’s a consensus in NATO right now, as the war is going on, on whether or not to accept Ukraine into NATO,” Biden said.
He also added that he had discussed the matter in detail with President Zelensky and promised that the US would continue to supply Kiev with weapons in the same way that they do it for Israel.
“I think we need to pave a rational way for Ukraine to it can qualify for NATO membership” Biden said.
