President of the United States (US) Joe Biden issued a stern warning regarding the Russian President’s invasion Vladimir Putin to Ukraine. Biden warned Putin would not stop if Ukraine was taken over.
Reported by AFP, Thursday (7/12/2023), Biden said this on the sidelines of a Congressional meeting. He requested that Congress provide emergency funding for Ukraine.
On that occasion, Biden also spoke about Putin’s character. He emphasized that Putin would continue his invasion of other places if he succeeded in taking over Ukraine.
“If Putin takes over Ukraine, he’s not going to stop there. He’s going to keep going, he’s made that pretty clear,” Biden said at the White House.
Biden said the invasion could lead to a NATO member. However, Biden warned that Putin would face American troops if that happened.
“If Russia attacks one of the members of the NATO alliance, then we will get something that we are not looking for, and that we do not have right now, American troops against Russian troops, if he moves to another country that is part of NATO,” he stressed.
