President of the United States (USA) Joe Biden condolences on his death First. Joe Biden called Pele a football legend.
“For a sport that unites the world like no other, Pele’s rise from humble beginnings to becoming a soccer legend is a story of what could have been,” Joe Biden said via his Twitter account on Friday (30 /12/2022).
Joe Biden said he and his wife, Jill Tracy Biden, were saddened by Pele’s death. He wishes the best to Pele and his family.
“Today Jill and I are thinking about her family and everyone who loved her,” she continued.
Reported Sky NewsThis sad news was conveyed by his agent. To AP, Pele was pronounced dead at the Albert Einstein Hospital in Sao Paulo, Brazil on Friday (12/30/2022) on morning WIB.
Pele had already been in intensive care at the hospital since before Christmas. He is currently struggling to recover from colon cancer, which he has had since September 2021.
