Joe Bastianich he has always been a provocateur, an entrepreneur, but now a showman who has never stopped keeping an eye on Italian TV, and his latest post published on Instagram confirms it in full.

Standing on the stairs of the Milano Centrale station, the former Masterchef Italia judge has himself immortalized while, very serious, he holds up a sign with a sentence written in large letters that has left his fans stunned. Indeed, it reads, “Free Barbara D’Urso” a sort of appeal for which Bastianich is the spokesperson and which, however, has all the airs of being a goliardic gimmick to ride one of the hottest topics of the television season that has just begun.
The gesture, as he himself declares in the description of the photo, is inspired by the now iconic one of dudewithsignan account with eight million followers on Instagram, which has become very famous for the lapidary phrases and slogans written on billboards and shown to passers-by on the streets of New York, with the inevitable impassive expression on his face and sunglasses on.

The followers, however, have begun to wonder if it was a joke or if it was a serious message, in fact there were comments such as: “Joe are you serious?“, or still some quote him: “Joe you are diluting me“, or “It’s like horror movies“.

Too bad, however, that Barbara D’Urso isn’t in Milan and, apparently, she won’t be there at least for quite a while. The presenter, after her removal from Mediaset following the failure to confirm the management of Afternoon 5, now in the hands of Myrta Merlino, flew to London. There she will begin a new adventure, as she herself announced shortly before taking the plane, without however specifying what her future plans were.
In the meantime, however, there was no lack of a rather detailed farewell to her audience, entrusted to her Instagram profile, where she recounted the evolution of the program of which she has been at the helm for 15 years, declaring once again that she did not quite understand the reasons of this change of pace. All that remains, therefore, is to wait for further news directly from the United Kingdom, to find out more.
