With around 1.5 million members, the German Alpine Club is the world’s largest mountain sports association and at the same time one of the largest German nature conservation associations.
With our 31,000 volunteers in over 350 sections, we enable mountain sports for all age groups and are committed to nature and climate protection, culture and education, and the promotion of children and young people.
The federal office of the DAV in the heart of Munich, with its 180 employees, is the authority and service center for the sections.
