DIRECTOR OF EDUCATION AND CHILDREN (M/F)

As a member of the management committee, you will be responsible for:
* Participate in the definition and implementation of the strategic orientations of the municipality in the fields of Education and Childhood. As such, you bring your expertise and decision support to the DGS as well as to the elected representatives
* Supervise and animate the teams of your direction (approximately 100 permanent agents, 7 executives in the school affairs services, school cash desk, out-of-school and out-of-school reception, catering, early childhood, maintenance and hygiene), and optimize the management of its resources human, financial and material by ensuring the quality of services to users
* Accompany change and manage the projects carried out by your management (construction of a municipal crèche, one-stop shop, school travel plan, my sustainable canteen, etc.) by ensuring the climate dimension in the work within schools, by link with the Technical Services Department
* Be proactive and ensure that educational issues are taken into account by cultural and sports services, by strengthening synergies with these areas of activity
* Collaborate with City services as well as partners and institutions in your sector of activity (IEN, private schools, social center, approved associations, etc.)
* Coordinate the Global Territorial Early Childhood-Childhood-Youth Convention
* Manage international cooperation projects, and organize the Solidarity Festival
* Prepare and follow the education, childhood and early childhood committee
* Participate in school councils
* Higher education, you have a keen sense of responsibility and public service and you have proven experience in similar functions
* With very good interpersonal skills, you have proven skills in the management and operational conduct of public policies
* You have a perfect knowledge of educational policies and their legal, administrative and institutional environment
* You have a sense of innovation, and the ability to organize activities and services
* Available, dynamic, organized and pragmatic, you know how to be proactive and responsive
