Lattes is a French commune located in the northeast of the Hérault department in the Occitanie region, south of Montpellier.

Under the responsibility of the Director of the Exchange and Knowledge Center and the Extracurricular Manager, the Youth Coordinator participates in the development of municipal educational action aimed at young people aged 15 to 25. It welcomes, informs, guides, supports the public, creates a dynamic within the structure and proposes individual and collective projects and activities.
OBJECTIVES – POSITION MISSIONS:
1/ Reception of the public during the opening times of the Youth Space :
Welcome, inform and guide the public in a physical and dematerialized way Support the public in a personalized way (active listening, proposals, orientation, etc.) Encourage initiative, autonomy and encourage the emergence of projects among young people Enable involvement and the decision-making of young people in the operation of the Youth Space, in particular through the implementation of a junior association
2/ Coordination of staff and organization of the Youth Space :
Organization of the presence time of the various supervisors of the Youth Space according to openings, projects and interventions on extracurricular time Distribution of each person’s tasks according to the needs of the Youth Space Tutoring of civic services Evaluation of the Space’s actions youthRegular reporting to the hierarchy and elected officials
3/ Animation and management of the PIJ
Support the public by deploying an offer focused on the 9 themes of the IJBe in contact with the local Youth Information network and participate in IJ trainingOrganize, develop and promote plural actions and animation of the PIJ
4/ Setting up a partnership with local educational stakeholders and bringing the network to life
Establish and nourish the local youth network (MLI, College, High School, associations, etc.) Contribute to the good correlation between the High School Student House, the ALC and the Youth Space Be a stakeholder in the dynamics of the Educating City
5/ Implementation of animation projects
Master the different animation techniques and know the essential elements of pedagogy Support young people in the project approach in a logic of empowerment Participate in the development and development of the program of activities for the 15/25 year old sector Subscribe to the orientations of the educational project linked to the ALP and the ALSHParticipate in extracurricular meridian times in elementary school and middle school

JOB PROFILE :
Holder of a DEJEPS socio-educational and cultural animation or equivalent, allowing in particular the management of an ACM. Proven and successful experience with the target audience of adolescents and young adults. Privileged experience in the animation and management of a PIJ. Knowledge of the functioning of a junior association Proven and successful experience in network development and project work Mastery of project design and management (methodology, monitoring, evaluation, etc.) Excellent knowledge of the educational animation sector , socio-cultural and sporting.Ability to manage a budgetProficiency in IT and office tools.Ease in using means of communication and information, particularly via social media.Disposition to very good writing skillsExcellent interpersonal skills in terms of Listening and ease in communicating with the target audience while maintaining the right distance. Ability to develop and nurture team spirit and collaboration
CONDITION OF WORK :
Full-time position (35h) annualized
Holder of the B permit
Usual working hours : 11:30 a.m./7 p.m. during the week but variable in the evening and Saturday depending on the development and life of the projects. Opportunities for occasional meetings in the morning.
Availability required in the evening, during school holidays and certain weekends for participation in meetings, events or specific actions.
Leave planned according to the needs of the sector (closure of 3 weeks minimum during the month of August and one week between weeks between Christmas and New Year’s Day).
Employment framework: Animation assistant (cat C) or Facilitator (cat B)
