Agreement on a representative for culture and social affairs 60-80%

As a representative for culture and social affairs, you are part of the office and responsible for neighborhood work. You are the contact point for the social concerns of the cooperative members and promote and support neighborly coexistence in the individual EBG settlements: As a specialist, you coordinate, advise and accompany the self-initiatives of the settlement residents. They support the settlement commissions and interest groups.

In the Weissenstein settlement, you are also jointly responsible for running the common rooms and the activities of the EBG center, which is located under one roof with the EBG office and senior-friendly apartments.

Your tasks

• Accompanying and coordinating the projects and initiatives of the neighborhood residents

• Promotion of social participation and neighborhood in all EBG housing estates

• Operation of the EBG center

• Interface between members of the cooperative, office, settlement commissions and board of directors in social and cultural matters

your profile

• Training in social work, social pedagogy, socio-cultural animation or similar

• Experience in community work, neighborhood work, building projects with volunteers

• Autonomy and strong organizational and communication skills

• Good access to different people and sociability

• Willingness for flexible and outreach work assignments
