Lawyer (50 – 60%)

Your tasks:

• Advising the various departments and bodies of the city of Thun on all legal issues; Preparation of reports, expert opinions and contracts
• Appraisal of the transferred business for the attention of the municipal authorities
• Drafting and revision of municipal decrees
• Representing the interests of the municipality in legal disputes with third parties and authorities
• Instruction of internal municipality complaint procedures for the attention of the municipal council
• Elaboration and coordination of consultations
• Participation in working groups, commissions and project organizations

You bring:

• You have a Bernese attorney/lawyer’s or notary’s license
• You have several years of professional experience, preferably in the field of Bernese administrative law
• You have political flair and are interested in working at an exciting interface between law and politics at the community level
• You have the ability to work interdisciplinary
• You are fluent in written and spoken expression
• You can quickly familiarize yourself with your area of ​​responsibility
