Job Opening: Design Engineer Surface Treatment – Electroplating (H/F)

Manpower Recruitment firm is looking for its client, a player in the advanced technologies, electrical and electronics sector, a Design Engineer Surface Treatment – Electroplating (H/F).

Our client is a company in full digital transformation (aims for 100% digitization) and which acquires new facilities to improve their production. (new machines, new procedures etc.).

Under the responsibility of the Service Manager, the main objective of this position is to assist him and to be the referent of the company in surface treatment – electroplating.

You will evolve within a team made up of around twenty people with good seniority in the company (cross-functional management).

In order to carry out your function, you will be required to interact with the other departments (assembly, final inspection, ceramics, etc.).

Your role will be to:
– Support industrialization, production, repair and maintenance to solve quality problems and non-conformities on surface treatment processes.
– Contribute to the industrialization of parts produced in-house and ensure technological monitoring of surface treatments.
– Implement and control the processescontribute to the installation of future production equipment.
– Identify areas for improvement and productivity gains the company’s industrialization methods: reduction of cycles, reduction of manufacturing costs, optimization of industrialization files and their robustness.
– Provide technical assistance to production teams by writing and updating the specific documentation applicable in production .

Trained as an engineer in materials science / chemistry / surface treatment you justify an experience on a similar position of minimum 4 years, in the surface treatment of metal parts.

You master surface treatments: electro-deposition, auto-catalytic deposits.
You have a good level in English especially the written one, the oral will be a +.
