The Gironde Departmental Energy and Environment Union (SDEEG) is a public establishment whose members are the municipalities and EPCIs of the Gironde department.
As the organizing authority for the public distribution of electricity and natural gas, the SDEEG is also involved in public lighting, energy transition, electric mobility, town planning and external fire defense. . The SDEEG is also strongly committed to renewable energies with the creation of the SEM Gironde Énergies (photovoltaics, methanization, bioNGV mobility, etc.).
The mission of the construction economist is part of the ACTEE program (Action of Territorial Communities for Energy Efficiency) carried out by the FNCCR (National Federation of Granting and Managing Communities).
This program aims to develop energy efficiency projects for public buildings and the substitution of fossil fuels with efficient, low-carbon energy systems.
The construction economist specializing in energy management will have the task of:
– Raise awareness among communities about the importance of energy efficiency on their heritage and the buildings in their territory,
– Support communities in analyzing this heritage and making recommendations,
– Plan the work over time and the asset management strategy on a multi-year basis,
– Support the drafting of specifications,
– Participate, if necessary, in the procedure for analyzing and appointing service providers,
– Monitor and verify the proper execution of the work,
– Ensure good energy savings over time resulting from the quality of the work and their proper hoarding by the community to subsequently invest, in line with the multi-year real estate management strategy, in other planned actions.
