Frankfurt am Main is a rapidly growing, multicultural metropolis and, with around 750,000 inhabitants, an urban center in the Rhine-Main area. The dynamic development and climate change place diverse demands on the city administration. The sustainable planning, protection and management of public green spaces, the city forest and cemeteries in all their spectrums are among the tasks of the Green Spaces Department. With its 740 employees in six specialist departments, who belong to a wide variety of professional groups, the Green Spaces Department is an interesting and multifaceted unit.
