[Job] Camp-Koordinator (m/w/d) – Football School

Markus Kraetschmerone of the best-known faces in Austrian sports management, speaks in the KaffeehausTALK with Simon-Peter Charamza and Lorenz Kirchschlager about his time at FK Austria Wien and how this influenced his subsequent independence.

Although Markus Kraetschmer was discovered at the age of 8 by scouts from “his” Austria at the Modena Park in Vienna’s 3rd district during a cage kick, family reasons prevented him from pursuing a sporting career. He nevertheless fulfilled his dream of the football business. Kraetschmer now has more than 25 years of experience in sports management and has held senior positions in football for almost 24 years. He was CEO of FK Austria Vienna, on the supervisory boards of the Austrian Football Bundesliga and the ÖFB, and as the club’s representative in the ECA (European Club Association). In the 62nd KaffeehausTALK episode, Kraetschmer tells numerous stories, insights and anecdotes about Frank Stronach, rising stars, the Champions League anthem and Muster-Faust, as well as the search for investors and his last months at Austria.

Markus Kraetschmer now combines his wealth of experience from club management, investor search, financing options and ESG/CSR projects in his own company MK Consulting and several company investments. As a management consultant with a focus on sports consulting, he now covers a comprehensive repertoire that goes far beyond football. KaffeehausTALK listeners get exciting insights into what is important in consulting and investments, why India is a future market for sports business, what influence the American NFL has on the European League of Football (ELF), how sports networks open doors and have currently taken him to the United Arab Emirates and the German pension business.
