Joao Felix one step away from joining Chelsea. The blues He has reportedly agreed to borrow the Portuguese star from Atletico Madrid.
Felix’s move to Chelsea was covered by the famous Italian journalist, Fabrizio Romano. Atletico Madrid loaned Felix to Chelsea after the player agreed to extend his contract with Wanda Metropolitano until 2027.
“Joao Felix at Chelsea, here we go! Full verbal agreement reached, loan at a cost of €11m with Chelsea at 100% salary,” Romano tweeted on Tuesday (10/1/2023) evening WIB.
“Before leaving, JF will extend his contract with Atleti until 2027. Joao will fly to London in the next few hours to undergo a medical and autographs,” he concluded.
Joao Felix has become a target Chelsea in the summer transfer market. London Blue need the 23-year-old to patch up their porous forward line with injury.
Chelsea have lost Raheem Sterling, Christian Pulisic, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Armando Broja to the treatment room. Joao Felix will be on loan until June 2023.
