Joao Felix caused a lot of excitement with his public request for a change to Barça. The shooting star, who was slowed down in his career, will not wait forever for the Blaugrana.
FC Barcelona haven’t made any concrete attempts to sign Joao Felix yet. According to Sport, the Catalan decision-makers have communicated to those around the 23-year-old that there is valid interest in working together.

But as long as no talks have been held with Atletico Madrid, Felix and his management cannot plan. Portugal’s high-flyer is said to have informed Barça that he will wait exactly one week before the Blaugrana make an initial transfer offer for him.
Otherwise, it seems, Felix will look to other options. A Barça change should still have priority for him. Whether sufficient financial resources can be created in this rather short period of time may well be questioned.

Joao Felix: Saudi Arabia advertises, Barça priority
Felix arouses desires in Saudi Arabia. Al-Hilal is said to be striving to process a transfer there. Coach Jorge Jesus is said to have called his compatriot several times to persuade him to make a move. For Felix, however, staying in Europe has priority for the time being.
“I would love to play for FC Barcelona,” said Felix in mid-July. “Barcelona has always been my first choice and I would love to go there. It’s been my dream since I was a kid. If that were to happen, it would be a dream come true.”
