João Basso, from Arouca, was elected the best defender of March in the League.
In the poll carried out by the main coaches of the competition, the Brazilian central defender of the Arouquenses collected 18.80 percent of the votes, surpassing Grimaldo (Benfica) and Tomás Araújo (on loan from Benfica to Gil Vicente), who had 13.68% and 11 .97%, respectively.
During the period under evaluation, João Basso participated in the three games of Arouca, in which he added two draws and a victory.
