After barely 15 minutes, a penalty situation arose in the match between Sirius and Djurgården. Sirius striker Joakim Persson got free against goalkeeper Jakob Widell Zetterström and was pushed from behind by Marcus Danielson. Persson fell to the grass and looked at the referee. But there was no penalty.

– He pushes on the way there, I think it should be a penalty, Persson told Discovery+ during the half-time break.

However, he is otherwise satisfied with Sirius’ performance in the first half – while being self-critical.

– We play an okay first half. We play better than them and we create many chances. We should have scored a goal.

– I have to score. Otherwise it’s good.

Persson was replaced at halftime. He was replaced by Tashreeq Matthews.
