Previously, an upload containing information regarding the JNE package containing the missing iPhone XR cellphone and only the box was left, went viral on social media on Thursday (24/2/2022).
In the upload, the consumer claims to have bought an iPhone XR with wooden packaging and is equipped with insurance.

However, when consumers report problems that occur, JNE is considered not to solve problems quickly.
“For God’s sake @JNE_ID, my package has been insured and even paid for the wooden packing when it arrived, only the cell phone box was left. Complained that the instructions were not clear, they were passed around, they were told to go to the branch office which is very far away. It’s been more than 24 hours the center doesn’t update at all,” write uploader.
The uploader also added a video of the unboxing of the package along with the condition of the cell phone box when opened.

Then, how is JNE’s response to the case of the loss of the consumer’s iPhone XR?

JNE explanation: under investigation
Responding to the incident, JNE’s Head of Media Relations Kurnia Nugraha said that his party had investigated and would replace the item.
“Regarding the case that happened to consumers with the loss of their cellphones, we from the company through CS have carried out an investigation and we have handled it well,” said Kurnia when contacted by Kompas.com, Saturday (26/2/2022).
“Currently in the claim stage according to the procedure for the replacement process,” he continued.
He added that the investigation stage was still being carried out regarding the case until the chronology was actually issued from the JNE Operational Team.
If the chronology already exists, JNE will be able to determine the location of the problem.
Lost items will be replaced
Kurnia said, as a form of responsibility, the company will replace it according to the procedures applicable to its customers.
In addition, to prevent similar incidents from recurring, JNE ensures that its employees can follow all shipping procedures that apply at JNE.
“Following all delivery procedures applicable at JNE so that all consumer shipments arrive safely,” said Kurnia.
JNE will also apply sanctions to individuals who act not according to procedures.
“Any action that is not in accordance with the procedure will be dealt with strictly according to company regulations and if there is a violation, it will be processed by the authorities to the realm of law,” said Kurnia.
