JN Music Group presents its artists and musical products for your consideration

In a display of talent and diversity, JN Music Group and their record labels J&N Records y Musical Productions (MP) unveiled an impressive list of artists to be considered for the 25th annual Latin Recording Academy Awards. Since July 24, the first round of online voting has been open, allowing voting members to select their favorites until August 5, when voting will close at 6:00 p.m. (Pacific Time).

The Sonora Matancera: A Century of Music

One of the most resonant names on the list is that of the official orchestra of “La Sonora Matancera,” which is celebrating its 100th anniversary. They are presenting two singles, “Llegó La Sonora” and “Carnaval con La Sonora,” which combine the orchestra’s tradition with modern sounds, offering a musical experience that honors its legacy while attracting new generations.

Beto Collado: Tribute to the Master

Salsa singer Beto Collado is presenting three singles under consideration: “Vete,” “Mi Funeral” and “Si A Veces Hablo De Ti,” the latter a collaboration with Miosotis that pays tribute to composer Manuel Alejandro. This song, originally performed by José Luis Rodríguez, El Puma, in 1982, is a tribute to the lyrics that have marked the history of Latin music.

Miosotis: Sauce with Feeling

Dominican-Puerto Rican singer Miosotis is releasing her EP “Dame Salsa,” which includes five songs. Among them are salsa versions of classics such as PANDORA’s “Cómo te va mi amor” and Ha*Ash’s “Lo aprendí de ti.” Her unique voice and ability to reinterpret these songs have captured the attention of many in the industry.

Pedrito Lama: The Personal Touch

From the Dominican Republic, Pedrito Lama presents his album “Solitario”. This project is special because Lama was able to create the musical arrangements, adding a personal and authentic touch. The singles “Ya no Somos ni Seremos”, “No te Perdono”, “Tu tiempo Pasó” and “Falsa y Traicionera” reflect his passion and talent.

Alexandra Queen: The Power of Bachata

Representing bachata, Alexandra presents her song “Ya Fuiste”. Produced by Daniel Simo and composed by Leyder Beisan Macias Castillo, the song tells the story of a woman who decides to leave the past behind and move forward, a resonant and empowering song.

A Celebration of Latin Talent

The list of artists up for consideration not only highlights the richness and diversity of Latin music, but also JN Music Group’s commitment to excellence and innovation. The blend of tradition and modernity in their productions reflects an industry that is constantly evolving and continues to capture the hearts of listeners around the world.

We applaud the opportunity to be in this first stage of consideration and the possibility of being representatives of Latin music with each of the artists and their musical productions and that the voting authorities and their selective ears mention as nominees those who best represent the spirit and passion of each musical genre in the next edition of the Recording Academy. We are convinced that this year, as in previous years, we will have an unforgettable celebration of talent and creativity that will elevate our Latin culture.

“We are already preparing for this special edition of the Academy in Miami, with our full support for Latin music and all those producers, engineers, musicians and artistic directors who make the entire gigantic world of music possible,” says Juan Hidalgo, President of the record label J&N Records.
