Agricultural producers from the Municipality of Jesús María were benefited with the fertilization program with drone, a technique for applying chemical, biological and fertilizer products.
Through SEDATUM, particularly the Department of Agrarian Development, onion crops were fertilized in the town of La Cardona, with an agricultural drone that among other advantages generates savings in time and resources, in addition to avoiding direct contact with agrochemicals.
“Since Mayor Antonio Arámbula took office, he has shown his interest and commitment to supporting the field, promoting it and, to the extent of the Municipality’s possibilities, making it more productive and this is a novel way of doing it to produce more with less effort. ”, Said the head of the SEDATUM José Refugio Muñoz López.
The official commented that agricultural producers can access this fertilization program if they wish, since it is about the municipal government being a facilitator so that the lands of Jesús María continue to be productive.
“This agricultural drone goes beyond traditional spraying and is suitable for any type of terrain; it can reach a height of two to ten meters and can be used for any plant, from corn, broccoli and as it was in this case, onion ”, explained Ramiro Sandoval, in charge of the Department of Agricultural Development.
Finally, they thanked the Molina company for the facilities to carry out this demonstration.
