Actor Jiří Suchý, who was taken by the rescue service from the performance of the Semafor Theater to Střešovice Hospital on October 10, said on social networks that he felt healthy.
“If I didn’t have my favorite mini-collapse once or twice a year, I would have a feeling that something was happening to me,” Jiří Suchý wrote on Facebook for a photo with a stuffed animal. “Thank you for your unnecessary worries about me and have a great time,” he added.
The actor was sick during the performance at a special event connected with the premiere of the new film. Suchý was to sing several songs with the support of Jitka Molavcová and Jiří Svoboda. “It was exhaustion and fatigue from the last weeks that revolved around the prime minister and his birthday,” said Suchý’s assistant Irena Zlámalová.
The principal of the Semafor theater, which together with Jiří Šlitr formed one of the most original and popular pairs in the history of Czech theater in the 1960s, was in the hospital for several days at the beginning of March last year. The reason was the collapse of exhaustion at the time. Suchý canceled several performances at that time.
