From January to March, Jintan District’s industrial economy showed a stable and strengthening trend, and the energy-saving work was carried out in an orderly manner. The consumption of industrial coal above the designated size was steadily reduced, and the energy consumption structure continued to improve.
From January to March, the comprehensive energy consumption of industries above designated size in Jintan District was 393,300 tons of standard coal, a year-on-year increase of 0.1%. Among the major energy sources, the consumption of raw coal was 126,600 tons of standard coal, a year-on-year decrease of 3.0%, and continued to maintain a downward trend. The consumption of clean energy such as heat, waste heat and pressure, and biofuels increased by 11.3%, 98.5%, and 67.5% respectively. The supply rate of all kinds of clean energy continues to rise, which fully demonstrates that Jintan District’s industrial production has always been guided by the concept of green development, and actively implemented the task of energy conservation and consumption reduction, which has strongly supported the high-quality economic development of the region.
