[Jingyuan Finance]The Qin Gang case escalates for the second time and the Xi administration’s affairs are unpredictable – The Epoch Times

[The Epoch Times, December 11, 2023]Hello everyone, welcome to “Jingyuan Finance”.

Recently, the CCP’s life has become increasingly difficult.

On December 5, the international rating company Moody’s adjusted the outlook for China’s sovereign credit rating from “stable” to “negative” and publicly expressed pessimism about the CCP’s economy. This was undoubtedly a blow to the CCP and made matters worse.

However, misfortunes never come singly. The spy scandal of former Chinese Communist Party Foreign Minister Qin Gang, which had been dormant for four months, has resurfaced and is making waves, causing another impact on the already embattled and precarious Chinese Communist regime.

In this episode, we will talk to you about the second escalation of the Qin Gang case, as well as the shock and possible crisis consequences to Xi Jinping’s regime.

Qin Gang case heats up again

On December 6, the European version of Politico, an influential American media outlet, published an unsigned report. The report quoted an insider of the Chinese Communist Party government who has contacts with senior officials in Beijing as saying that 6 On March 25, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko reported to Xi Jinping during his visit to Beijing that former Foreign Minister Qin Gang, Rocket Force senior officials, and former Defense Minister Li Shangfu had been instigated by Western intelligence agencies to rebel.

“Politico” also quoted two anonymous sources as saying that Qin Gang had been “tortured to death” or committed suicide in a military hospital in Beijing in July. This report has a sensational title: “China’s Xi Jinping carries out Stalin-style purges.”

This report immediately attracted attention from the outside world and sparked heated discussions. Major international media such as Voice of America, RFI, and Free Asia have all reported on this article, and people from various media outlets such as We Media have expressed their opinions, which has attracted a wave of traffic.

People have different opinions on the authenticity and credibility of the report. The focus of the controversy is mainly on the judgment of whether Qin Gang is dead and whether the evidence chain mentioned in the report is reasonable and other details. There is a general consensus among the outside world about the political darkness of the CCP, official purges, and the dangerous direction of Xi Jinping’s regime described in the report.

Qin Gang has disappeared since meeting with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Rudenko on June 25. A month later, on July 25, he was removed from his post as foreign minister. On October 24, the sixth meeting of the Standing Committee of the 14th National People’s Congress of the Communist Party of China At the meeting, Qin Gang and Li Shangfu were announced to be removed from their posts as State Councilors.

Obviously, there is no suspense about Qin Gang’s political death and social death. Has his physical body also died, or even preceded his political death and social death? This situation is not impossible, although there is no conclusive evidence from the outside world.

After Li Keqiang’s funeral, Cheng Hong, Li Keqiang’s wife, was coerced by the CCP not to disclose more information about Li Keqiang’s funeral to the outside world. In other words, the CCP can do whatever it wants with its control over sensitive information. If Qin Gang is still alive, the Chinese Communist authorities are unlikely to let rumors fly. They will at least hint or coerce Qin Gang’s family to release information that Qin Gang is still alive. However, the outside world has not seen such information so far.

In addition, the CCP’s secret executions of senior officials in the past are not without precedent. According to former CCP Navy Lieutenant Colonel Yao Cheng’s reveal on his media program, Wang Shouye, former deputy commander of the CCP Navy, was captured and secretly executed after he attempted to assassinate Hu Jintao. Instigated by Jiang Zemin, Wang Shouye launched two warships in the Yellow Sea during May Day in 2006 and opened fire on a guided missile destroyer on which Hu Jintao was inspecting the North Sea Fleet. Five naval officers and soldiers were killed on the spot.

The CCP is ruthless in the spygate case

Regarding the spygate case, the CCP is even more ruthless and shows no mercy.

Yu Qiangsheng, the former director of the North American Intelligence Department and director of the Foreign Affairs Bureau of the National Security Council of the Chinese Communist Party, was assassinated by the Chinese Communist Party in 1986 after he fled to Latin America because he defected to the United States and betrayed the Chinese Communist spy Jin Wuluo.

Liu Liankun, the former Ordnance Director of the General Logistics Department of the People’s Liberation Army and Major General, was instigated by the Military Intelligence Bureau of the Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of China. During the 1996 Taiwan Strait Missile Crisis, Liu Liankun provided the Military Intelligence Bureau with the Chinese Communist Second Artillery’s “Dongfeng-15” short-range ballistic missile, which is a hollow-core projectile and has no Important confidential information about live ammunition was accidentally leaked publicly by Lee Teng-hui. Liu Liankun was defeated and arrested, and was executed by the CCP military court for collaborating with the enemy.

In December 2006, Li Bin, former deputy director of the Asia Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Communist Party of China and ambassador to South Korea, was arrested and jailed for 7 years for mentioning information about Kim Jong Il’s visit to China to South Koreans; in 2007, Yu, Director of Foreign Affairs of Xinhua News Agency Jiafu was sentenced to 18 years in prison for allegedly leaking information to foreign institutions; in September 2014, Ma Jisheng, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Chinese Communist Party to Iceland, and his wife Zhong Yue were arrested by the Ministry of National Security of the Chinese Communist Party for leaking state secrets to Japan. They have been arrested to this day. No news, life or death unknown.

The United States is regarded by the CCP as the main backing force of Western anti-China forces and the CCP’s mortal enemy. The CCP deeply hates spies who defect and seek refuge in the United States. In 2017 and 2018, the New York Times, Voice of America and other media reported multiple times that the CCP killed or detained nearly 20 CIA informants from 2010 to 2012, undermining the U.S.’s years of work in China. The report also stated that one of the informants was shot dead in front of his colleagues in the courtyard of the government building in an attempt to intimidate others.

If Qin Gang has connections with foreign countries and sells intelligence to the United States together with the Rocket Army, the CCP will naturally be merciless, even though he was once a favorite of Xi Jinping. What’s more, this kind of internal scandal, Xi Jinping actually obtained the information through Russian exports to domestic sales, will inevitably destroy Xi’s authority. Putin can be cruel to his close confidant Prigozhin, and Xi Jinping naturally cannot show weakness.

So did Xi Jinping fall into Putin’s alienation scheme and use Xi’s help to kill the pro-US Foreign Minister Qin Gang? It is unlikely. After the 20th National Congress, the CCP’s foreign policy decision-making power is completely in the hands of Xi Jinping. Neither Qin Gang nor Wang Yi can play a leading role. Compared with Cui Tiankai, Qin Gang is more of a warrior. Whether he is truly pro-American is unknown to the outside world. . On the other hand, if Russia does not have solid evidence, Xi Jinping will not easily use thunderous measures against the military and diplomatic systems at the same time.

Then it involves a question. Qin Gang was promoted to deputy national leader three times in a few years. He is a popular leader of the Communist Party of China and has a bright future. Why did he defect to the United States? This seems to have become the key logical core of Qin Gang’s spy door.

CCP officials often fall prey to honey traps

The reason lies in the promiscuous genes of CCP officials.

In response to the Qin Gang incident, the CCP released three information convection circles. The outermost message it released was the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs explaining to the outside world that the reason why Qin Gang disappeared from public view was “health reasons.” This is the most serious, least believed, and least popular lie to date.

The second level of information is that the Wall Street Journal quoted a source in Beijing on September 19, saying that the Qin Gang incident had been conveyed to the provincial and ministerial levels and that it was a “lifestyle”, alluding to his ambiguous relationship with the well-known Phoenix TV host Fu Xiaotian and surrogacy. Troubles. The CCP not only conveyed this information at the provincial and ministerial levels, but also adopted a method of letting it spread through the Internet to achieve widespread publicity. What is the purpose of the CCP? Why did the CCP adopt completely different public opinion campaigns in dealing with the Zhang Gaoli and Peng Shuai incident and the Qin Gang and Fu Xiaotian incident?

Avoiding the important and concealing the truth is the CCP’s eternal logic in handling political crises. The story of Zhang Gaoli and Peng Shuai, the CCP tried its best to cover up the truth about the adultery of high-ranking officials, which caused a blow to the CCP regime.

The story of Qin Gang and Fu Xiaotian, the CCP wants to cover up the truth about the rebellion of high-ranking officials, and the romantic affair is reduced to a smoke bomb. Qin Gang’s betrayal is the third layer of information in the Qin Gang incident, and it is also the bottom and core plot of the script of Qin Gang’s resignation and death.

Previous rumors in July and August, as well as an article in Politico on December 6, alleged that Fu Xiaotian was a dual spy for the CCP and the West, and that Phoenix TV was a spy media of the Jiang Zeng faction of the CCP. The “Politician” article revealed that Cambridge University, where Fu Xiaotian studied, is the source of recruitment for British MI6 intelligence officers. It is natural that Qin Gang, a promising and charming man, would be lured into a beauty trap.

The CCP gangsters are very good at using honey traps to bribe political figures from various countries, but CCP officials who are accustomed to being dissolute often fall prey to honey traps. There are two most typical examples: one is when Jiang Zemin was studying abroad, he fell into the KGB beauty trap and fooled around with the Soviet female spy Krava. After Jiang came to power, he was blackmailed by the Soviet Union and sold millions of kilometers of land to Russia.

The other is also a member of the Jiang faction. According to information disclosed by WikiLeaks, former Finance Minister Jin Renqing was forced to resign in August 2007 because he fell into Taiwan’s honey trap. Sharing Taiwanese female spies with Jin Renqing were Du Qinglin, then Secretary of the Sichuan Provincial Party Committee, Chen Tonghai, Chairman of Sinopec, and Du Shicheng, Secretary of the Qingdao Municipal Party Committee.

The Xi administration is being roasted on the fire

The US media “Politico” continues to speculate on the Qin Gang case, which is undoubtedly putting the Xi Jinping authorities on the fire. Regardless of whether Qin Gang is dead or whether the espionage case exists, the political chaos of the Chinese Communist authorities is already the elephant in the room and it is obvious. If Qin Gang really leaked nuclear weapons information to the United States together with the Rocket Force and disappeared, and the spy war has reached the level of the deputy foreign minister being dragged into the water, there is no possibility of U.S.-China relations recovering, and the meeting with Xi Jinping is just a big stone. The water is just floating.

What Xi Jinping faces is not only the Great Depression, but political loyalty and military security are also facing unforeseen risks. Li Keqiang’s death was unclear, Qin Gang didn’t know whether he was dead or alive, the position of Defense Minister is still empty, and the top brass of the Rocket Force have been detained for half a year without any explanation. Former Navy Lieutenant Colonel Yao Cheng said that if possible, at least 30% of the officers in the Chinese Communist Party’s military system would like to provide intelligence to the West and leave a way out for themselves.

On December 8, the CCP held a Politburo meeting and pledged to open up at a high level next year, seemingly in a hasty response to Moody’s “negative” credit ratings on the Chinese government, large state-owned banks, and pillar central and state-owned enterprises. The party-controlled system remains unchanged, the national security heavily intervenes in the economic and financial fields, and the “Counterespionage Law” is suspended. These political operations that violate the laws of economic development will only accelerate the collapse of the Chinese economy.

The meeting also emphasized the stimulating effect of active fiscal expansion on the economy, but excessive borrowing does not mean that new economic growth points can be found. Huge debt pressure and weak domestic demand are likely to squeeze the economy into a deflation channel. The Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China has been difficult to deliver so far, which may be due to the CCP’s economic sluggishness, high-level political turmoil, and internal personnel chaos.

The death of Stalin and the death of Mao Zedong of the Chinese Communist Party were both considered by people to be the only right things they did in their lives. Today, when communist ideology has been thrown into the garbage heap of history, Xi Jinping’s Communist China Dream is undoubtedly driving history in reverse. If the brakes are not applied, the outcome may be even more tragic.
