San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan announced that quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo is a doubt for Sunday’s game against the Houston Texans due to a thumb injury.
The 49ers would start Trey Lance as their starting quarterback.

Garoppolo, for his part, did not attempt any passes during the week due to the discomfort in his hand, however, he could still be from the game if hours before the game he can throw balls without problems.
Garoppolo is 8-6 this season as a starting quarterback, with 19 touchdowns, 10 interceptions and 68% passing completions.
