The 9th round of the second highest competition started with an attractive duel between Jihlava and Brno. After the international break, the guests extended their winning streak to five games when they beat the home team 1-0 with a goal by new signing Denis Alijagic and moved to first place in the incomplete table. Vysočina, on the other hand, did not stop the series without gaining a full number of points in front of their own supporters and remained sixth. However, Opava managed to catch up, beating the third Dukla 1:0.
