When Jigzaw came to Turkey a little over 5 years ago, he must have been at the absolute lowest point in his life. Separated from his family, rejected by his label and almost penniless, he had to build a new life for himself – and in a country he had never been to before. One can only imagine how dark this time was for him.
He has now built a new life for himself – and not only his rap career, but also his physical condition has changed for the better. As most people will have noticed, the rapper has been in top physical shape for a long time.
And the rapper’s numbers are also at a very decent level. In 2023, his songs were streamed almost 30 million times. This not only allows him to stay afloat financially, but also to live a high standard of living in Turkey.
Seven months off
Recently, however, things have been unexpectedly quiet for the rapper from Hagen. At the beginning of the year, he announced that he would finally be able to return to Germany after five years and that he would play a tour for his fans for the first time – after spending time with his family. Instead of implementing this plan, however, a period of absolute silence followed.
Yesterday we got the answer to why Jigzaw was away for a good seven months. As he explains, he completed his military service in Turkey. During this time he grew a beard and hair, among other things. This marks the beginning of a new chapter for him. With his last picture from Turkey, he officially announced his return to Germany and the release of his album “Olymp”.
Sales volume
During these seven months, Jigzaw generated a good passive income despite being inactive. He writes that he still made between 2 and 3 million streams per month during his time off.
Jigzaw previously mentioned that he earns an average of 4,500 euros per million streams. Extrapolated to 2.5 million streams, that’s an average of 11,250 euros that Jigzaw generated passively each month during his time off!
