Intersection news: The recent Spring Festival transportation period for New Year goods has entered its peak period. Coupled with the widespread rain, snow and freezing weather, it has become more difficult to ensure smooth delivery of postal services. Xinhua Daily·Junction Point reporter learned that in order to ensure that customers’ New Year’s goods can be mailed to their homes smoothly, Jiangsu Post Branch uses its own controllable backbone network to ensure the transportation capacity of postal routes and transshipment centers to meet the delivery needs of the general public.

To adjust the postal route plan during the Spring Festival, Jiangsu Post adheres to the principle of “owning transportation capacity as the mainstay, and commissioned transportation capacity as the supplement” to ensure 24-hour uninterrupted dynamic service and provide the most solid and reliable way to help ensure smooth transportation during the Spring Festival peak season. transportation capacity guaranteed.

It is reported that Jiangsu Post is one of the first provinces to deploy large-volume new vehicles of China Post Group. In accordance with the principle of “key guarantee, cost priority, volume and energy matching”, nearly 700 new vehicles were put into operation before the end of last year, providing the province’s main lines with New guarantees have been added to the transportation capacity, and an independent backbone transportation network between important nodes across the country has been basically formed.

The launch of the company’s own new vehicles provides effective support for transportation capacity. During this year’s Spring Festival peak season, the shipment tasks of core nodes, key customers and key routes were effectively guaranteed. At the same time, the increase in self-owned transportation capacity has also alleviated the pressure on vehicle supply from commissioned transportation suppliers. At present, Jiangsu Post’s capacity supply rate and timely rate have reached 100%, ensuring smooth and orderly production during the peak season.

Recently, meteorological stations in Hunan, Hubei, Henan and other provinces across the country have successively issued blizzard and cold wave weather warning notices. When encountering special weather during the Spring Festival peak season, Jiangsu Postal Transportation Control Center immediately launched an emergency organization plan for vehicle transportation capacity to ensure safe and smooth delivery channels.

Thanks to the operation guarantee of large-capacity self-owned vehicles that are fully online, the emergency response capabilities of various postal areas of Jiangsu Post have been significantly enhanced. The Nanjing Postal District’s own trunk fleet quickly adjusted resources and transportation capacity, and made every effort to overcome difficulties such as highway closures and postal route obstructions to ensure uninterrupted mail transportation. From February 1st to 5th, the postal route in the disaster-stricken direction of Nanjing Postal District Center made a total of 78 trips, carrying nearly 900,000 pieces of mail, with a total of nearly 1,000 tons. The Wuxi Postal District Center deployed 15 of its own vehicles and 30 drivers to six key disaster-stricken routes, including Zhengzhou and Langfang, to support the implementation of mail transportation work. This effectively ensured that mail transportation was not interrupted during the Spring Festival peak season and helped postal operations not close during the Spring Festival. From February 1st to 5th, the postal route in the disaster-stricken direction of Wuxi Postal District Center made a total of 25 trips, carrying more than 400,000 pieces of mail, with a total of nearly 300 tons.
