Suara.com – The DPP Democrat Party responded casually regarding the compensation amounting to Rp55.8 billion that was requested Jhoni Allen Marbun related to a lawsuit against Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) et al to the Central Jakarta District Court.
The head of the Democratic Party’s DPP Strategic Communication Agency, Herzaky Mahendra Putra, said that until now the legal team was studying the contents of the filing of the lawsuit.
“It is still being studied by our team of democracy defenders, whose names are people who sue, please,” said Herzaky at the DPP Democrat Office, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (17/3/2021).
Herzaky emphasized that his party would obey the law and be ready to face Jhoni Allen’s lawsuit at trial.

“We are going to follow the process. We can’t deliver much of the lawsuit because our team for democracy advocates is still studying it,” he said.
On the other hand, Herzaky said, Jhoni Allen’s dismissal from the party was in accordance with applicable legal regulations. The dismissal was carried out on the basis of clearly ill activities.
“The act (of the coup) is already clear that we conveyed in the decision, yes, it is clear that his bad behavior is clear,” he said.
“So we feel that we no longer need to call (Jhoni Allen) for his information (before firing). And we can be specifically accounted for in our code of ethics in article 18,” he continued.

Jhoni Allen’s attorney, Slamet Hasan, explained that his party sued 3 people in this case, namely AHY as the party chairman, Teuku Riefky Harsya as the secretary general, and Hinca Panjaitan as the chairman of the party’s Honorary Council.
According to him, as a result of his client being declared dismissed by the party bearing the mercy symbol, the potential for material loss was Rp. 5.8 billion. In addition, for his immateriality, Jhoni felt that he had suffered a loss of Rp. 50 billion.
“With the dismissal as a member of the Indonesian Parliament.
