Sabine Brons and Donna Hooijer: ,,We didn’t clash much, because we had made a good plan beforehand.”
BARNEVELD
“I was on vacation and floated around in a boat with my sister. Then I just started telling something and thought: ‘this might be a nice story to write down’”, says Sabine Brons (17) from Barneveld. The idea took shape and together with classmate Donna Hooijer (18) she wrote the novel ‘Flute’.
At primary school Prince Willem Alexander, the friends were already busy writing stories about ten years ago and they still have this passion. According to mother Nancy Hooijer, it was a good move by the school to invest in talent development at the time. “It really gave them room for their creativity.”
