In Vienna, a nocturnal adventure for two 17-year-olds came to an abrupt end: after breaking into a jewelry store, they were caught by the police. Thanks to alert witnesses, the escape of the burglars was quickly stopped.
In the early morning hours of November 3, 2024, at 1:40 a.m., the police were called to a break-in at a jewelry store on Meidlinger Hauptstrasse. Witnesses said that two people used a tool to break the shop’s window and then fled.

As a result of the quick action of the officers, the two 17-year-old suspects, one from Romania and the other from Austria, were picked up near the scene of the crime and temporarily arrested. Both teenagers are now in police custody.
